Since we incorporate Jodobet D97 into our premix, we see significantly less heat stress in the animals during the summer. It replaces part of our choline chloride and that also saves in cost.

What does Jodobet®?
Jodobet® is a natural betaine source extracted from non-genetically modified sugar beets. It supports the health and productivity of monogastric animals through two mechanisms:
- As a methyl donor: optimizes metabolic processes, reduces feed costs and improves animal health
- As an osmolyte: protects intestinal epithelial cells from osmotic stress, improves nutritional absorption and digestion, and increases stress resistance to heat or dehydration
How does it work?
Natural betaine from sugar beet is significantly more effective than synthetic alternatives. Iodobet® has a conversion efficiency of 55%, making it more effective than traditional choline sources.
As a methyl donor, betaine provides methyl groups for essential metabolic processes – this can partially replace choline chloride and methionine in animal feed, reducing the need for multiple additives.
As an osmolyte, betaine protects cells from moisture loss during stress, helping animals cope better with heat, weaning and other stressful moments.

Composition
Jodobet® is extracted from non-genetically modified European sugar beets and contains natural betaine (trimethylglycine) as the active ingredient.
