What does Floraboost®?
Floraboost® is a liquid fertilizer formula that activates nutrient uptake and distribution in plants. It works on multiple levels simultaneously:
- Nutrient transport: stimulates sap flow and transport of sugars from ‘source’ cells (leaves) to ‘sink’ cells (fruits, roots, tubers)
- Photosynthesis: increases efficiency by stabilizing thylakoid membranes in the chloroplast
- Osmolytic regulation: maintains water balance in cells under drought and salt stress
- Antioxidant: neutralizes reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced under stress
- Stress resistance: protects against dehydration, extreme temperatures and high salt concentrations
How does it work?
Floraboost® contains organic osmolytes, including glycinebetaine and sorbitol, which together support physiological processes in the plant:
Glycinebetaine acts as an osmolite that protects cells from water loss and stabilizes membranes under stress. It also improves sugar transport through the phloem.
Sorbitol and other osmolites support sugar transport from leaves to storage organs (fruits, tubers), resulting in better filling and higher yields.
Organic nitrogen and sugars support energy production and protein formation in the plant.
Trial result potatoes: foliar spraying with Floraboost stimulated carbohydrate transport from leaves to tubers. Sap analysis confirmed protection against stress and improved sugar flow to storage organs – result: +4.0% higher tuber production vs. control group.
Composition
Floraboost® contains a unique liquid fertilizer formula:
- Organic nitrogen and sugars – energy production and protein formation
- Multiple organic osmolites – glycinebetaine, sorbitol and others
- Glycine betaine: osmoprotectant and sugar transport
- Sorbitol: sugar transport to sink organs
Water soluble, easy to use, compatible with standard spraying equipment.

Application & dosage
When to apply: before flowering (1st application) AND during fruit ripening (2nd application). Repeat every 3-4 weeks during important growth stages or stress periods.
