Floraboost® contains organic osmolytes, including glycinebetaine and sorbitol, which together support physiological processes in the plant:
Glycinebetaine acts as an osmolite that protects cells from water loss and stabilizes membranes under stress. It also improves sugar transport through the phloem.
Sorbitol and other osmolites support sugar transport from leaves to storage organs (fruits, tubers), resulting in better filling and higher yields.
Organic nitrogen and sugars support energy production and protein formation in the plant.
Trial result potatoes: foliar spraying with Floraboost stimulated carbohydrate transport from leaves to tubers. Sap analysis confirmed protection against stress and improved sugar flow to storage organs - result: +4.0% higher tuber production vs. control group.
