What does Florabet®?
Florabet® provides natural glycine betaine as an active ingredient for plant formulations. It acts as an osmoprotectant: helping cells retain water, stabilize membranes and maintain performance under stressful conditions.
Specifically:
- Stress resistance: protects plants from osmotic stress caused by salt, heat, drought and cold
- Turgor pressure: supports osmotic balance in the cell, ensuring robust plant development
- Yield stability: maintains productivity and crop quality throughout the crop cycle
- Compatibility: works with a wide range of crop protection strategies and other ingredients
How does it work?
Glycinebetaine is a natural osmolite found in plants as a protective mechanism against stress. Adding Florabet® to formulations artificially increases the concentration of this osmolite, enabling plants to:
Resist osmotic stress – at high temperatures or salinity levels, plants lose water through evaporation. Glycine betaine helps cells retain water and stabilize membranes even under extreme conditions.
Optimize nutrient transport – betaine promotes sugar transport and micronutrient uptake, allowing nutrients to be more effectively distributed through the plant.
Rapid absorption through leaves – absorbed within 24 hours of foliar application, with benefits lasting 3-4 weeks.

Florabet® 65:
- 35% glycine betaine in liquid molasses extract
- NK fertilizer: 5.25% organic nitrogen, 1.90% potassium
- 58% organic material
Florabet® D97:
- 97% glycine betaine powder
- N-fertilizer: 12% organic nitrogen
- 98.5% organic material
Both variants: extracted from non-GMO European sugar beets, certified organic.
