Our initiatives for greater sustainability

Closed system for water management
Our production process is designed with sustainability as a core value.
We have implemented a closed system where all wastewater is collected and carefully treated.
This water is then reused in our biogas plant for energy production.
This approach allows us to drastically reduce our dependence on external energy sources and significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

Investing in green energy
At Jodoco, we are betting on green energy to power our production facilities.
Solar panels provide much of our required energy, further reducing our CO2 emissions.
In addition, we use rainwater, which we collect in special wells and use for various processes, minimizing our water consumption.

Giving residual streams a new life
We actively contribute to a circular economy by processing residual streams from the food industry into valuable products.
We transform what would otherwise be wasted into useful raw materials.
This ensures more efficient use of available materials and minimizes waste.

Internal reuse of materials
We also strive for sustainability within our own processes.
Our IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) are cleaned and reused internally.
This reduces the amount of waste we generate and contributes to our zero-waste goals.
