Converting Choline supplementation into Betaine equivalent
The Jodoco company has developed a calculator that makes it easy and convenient to make the nutritional calculation for the conversion from the amount of choline chloride into the equivalent amount of betaine. This calculator provides a clear overview of the various options and associated dosages, to replace the current used choline chloride in your diets with one of the Jodobet® products containing betaine. Both the equimolar substitution as well as the bio-equivalent substitution are presented. To meet everyone’s needs, several input options are available in the calculator. You can start from the actual choline chloride product that you dose in your feed or from the active substance dosed, either expressed as choline chloride or alternatively as pure choline.
